After our delays departing Dublin due to British Airways computer crash we finally arrived London at our hotel opposite Kings Cross St Pancras station.

MUCKROSS ABBEY, HOUSE & GARDENS (May 25)

Along with Glendalough in the Wicklow National Park these sites are the best we have visited on our trip. Killarney is a magic place and requires a holiday of it's own to do it justice. The visit to Kilarney substituted a planned visit to Tralee only 20 min. further down the track on local advice. It was on our trip returning from Cork the previous day that a Clonmel lady on the train suggested we visit Muckross. Nothing like local knowledge.
